Planning and monitoring of activities

The NAOF plans and monitors its activities and finances in compliance with the common guidelines of the central government.

The NAOF’s societal impact targets, priorities and policies are defined in its strategy. The strategy is translated annually into concrete plans in the audit and oversight plan and the operational and financial plan (in Finnish only).

The National Audit Office’s annual report to Parliament is published annually in September. It includes the Auditor General’s review and the most important audit findings and recommendations for the past year. The NAOF also publishes its final accounts annually (in Finnish and Swedish only).
