Senate Properties as the administrator of state-owned offices and facility services
Report to be published: 16.06.2026 at 06.45The purpose of the audit is to determine if the arrangements for central government offices support the preconditions for the government agencies’ work and, in particular, for performing their statutory duties appropriately. The central government spends around EUR 900 million on premises each year, of which sum offices account for about one fifth. The facilities have a major impact on the preconditions for doing the work and, consequently, on the performance of government agencies’ statutory duties and central government finances. Significant savings are currently expected in office costs, and their number is being drastically reduced.
