The procurement of expert and research services at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs

Numerous errors were observed in the procurements that were examined. In the opinion of the National Audit Office, the decentralisation of procurements is one reason for the prevalence of errors. This audit focused on the procurement of expert and research services using funds appropriated to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs for operating expenses. The audit covered the organisation, steering and implementation of procurements up to 2006. This document contains a summary of the main results of the audit.
