Transparency Register Annual Report 2026

Every four years, the National Audit Office of Finland submits to Parliament an oversight report on the Finnish Transparency Register for the parliamentary term. In addition, the NAOF publishes an annual report on the operation and oversight of the Finnish Transparency Register. The report to Parliament and the annual report contain the NAOF’s main observations on the use and oversight of the Transparency Register, including the number of registered organisations, how many actors subject to the disclosure obligation submitted their disclosures by the deadline, and how many suspected cases of non-compliance the NAOF investigated. The reports also provide information on, among other things, the extent of lobbying carried out by different organisations, the subjects of lobbying, the lobbying targets, and the amount of financial resources used for lobbying and lobbying consultancy.
